DropBox is an online storage service. It allows you to store all of your files online and access them from any computer or most smartphones and tablets.  However, it seems that the popular service was hacked and some accounts were compromised.

What does this mean? Well, in a few weeks, you will have the ability to use a unique code alongside using your usual dropbox credentials.

In addition to this, you will have the ability to check out who is logged in or has logged into dropbox by location.

You will also be asked to change your password.

Dropbox will check for any suspicious activity.

Now this is good to see that companies are taking action to protect their customers.  That being said, we would recommend changing your Dropbox password right now.  If you have not done so, then drop what you are doing and change it right now.
